Chlamydia and GC (Gonorrhea) bacterial infection can be detected by Nucleic Acid Amplification in urine. Gonorrhea infection is detected as early as within 2-7 days of exposure and Chlamydia as early as 7-21 days after exposure.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are common sexually transmitted disease, transmitted through vaginal, anal or oral sexual contact. Gonorrhea (neisseria gonorrhea) infection is often co-exists with Chlamydia. Chlamydia can cause burning with urination and abnormal genital discharge in men and women. The Chlamydia infection is usually treated easily, if it caught early. But due to lack of symptoms, infection often goes undiagnosed. The undiagnosed and untreated, Chlamydia can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, which is a common cause of infertility.
